About Me

Hey, hi, hello!

Most of you reading this probably know me, but some of you may not, and as I am a complete open book, here is a snapshot of who I am…

I was born and raised in the PNW, and it runs deep in my veins. I cannot imagine life without evergreen
trees, the ocean and mountain lakes, and snow-capped mountains year round. I am my best self when hiking, camping, hammocking, and sleeping outside. The Columbia Gorge is my favorite place on the planet for adventuring & it holds just so many good, good memories!

I am an avid book reader, and average reading 70-100 books each year. You will find me re-reading Harry Potter several times a year because I will forever be a Potterhead. Some of my favorites are anything by Bob Goff & Jen Hatmaker, The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society, the entire Percy Jackson series, and anything by Katie Davis Majors & Annie Downs. I also love personal and spiritual development books, books about health, and biographies.

My walk with God really began my fourth year of college, in 2011. I was re-baptized that summer, when I fully understood what it meant to follow Jesus. In college, I was a part of multiple small groups, went on three different mission trips (the Navajo Reservation, Guatemala, and YoungLife’s camp in Malibu for college work week), and served as a small group leader. The campus ministry I attended in college is really where everything began for me when it comes to my faith and the mission field.

When it comes to personality… I am an ISFJ, though sometimes I border being an N and S, just depending on the situation. I am a 6 with a wing 5 on the enneagram, the 6 makes me a loyalist and the 5 an investigator. Both of these describe me to a tee.

Hammocking under the boardwalk right on the water with a good book is my jam. I started following football and became a life-time Seahawks fan 5 years ago. I summited my first mountain the summer of 2018 and it was magical. I started eating gluten & dairy free, and while it has been hard, it has also been really good for my digestive system. My favorite country on my World Race was Greece and I would go back in a heart beat. I have seven tattoos, all with deep meaning, and two of which I had done overseas on the World Race.

There are probably a million other things I could tell you on this page, but it would be a novel to read as I am typically long-winded with details.
